At Unmask Cancer, we believe that cancer affects far more than just the person diagnosed. It can impact family members, partners, friends and the people who provide care and support along the way.
That’s why we’re committed to supporting everyone affected by cancer, not just the patient.
Through practical help, emotional support and community-led initiatives, we aim to make the cancer journey a little less overwhelming. Whether it’s providing comfort during treatment, offering someone a safe space to talk or helping families create special moments during a difficult time, we want people to know they don’t have to face it alone.
A cancer diagnosis can bring unexpected challenges, both emotionally and financially. We want to help ease some of the pressures that can come with treatment and recovery.

Our Chemo-Kits are filled with practical essentials and comforting treats inspired by the things our founder, Jo, wished she’d had during her own chemotherapy treatment.
Each kit is created to offer a little comfort, reassurance and practical support to someone navigating cancer treatment.
Since launching in March 2024, we’ve donated over 100 Chemo-Kits to people across the UK and internationally.

Getting to and from cancer treatment can be challenging, particularly when someone is already dealing with the physical, emotional and financial effects of cancer.
We aim to help ease the burden of treatment-related travel costs, helping people access the care they need with a little less worry.

Recovery after cancer surgery can bring physical discomfort, changes to body confidence and a whole range of emotions.
We aim to help people access practical post-surgery essentials, including suitable bras and other supportive items, helping them feel more comfortable as they recover.

We offer counselling support for people affected by cancer, providing a safe and supportive space to talk through the emotions, worries and challenges that cancer can bring.
From navigating a diagnosis and treatment to coping with changes in relationships, body image, uncertainty or life after treatment, we recognise that everyone's experience is different.
You don't have to put on a brave face or have all the answers. Sometimes, having the space to talk is an important step in feeling supported.

Cancer treatment can bring changes to appearance and body confidence that are difficult to navigate.
We aim to support people in accessing practical items, including wigs and other essentials, to help them feel more comfortable and supported through these changes.
We support initiatives that help hospital play teams create positive experiences for children and families spending time in hospital.
Through donations of toys, craft supplies and other appropriate resources, we aim to help bring moments of fun, creativity and normality into what can be a difficult time.
Our Christmas Toy Drive helps bring festive cheer to children spending Christmas in hospital, supporting the incredible team working to make the season special for them.
We also recognise that siblings can be affected when a child is in hospital. Where possible, our fundraising helps provide gifts and treats for siblings too, so they feel remembered and included.
Because every child deserves a little Christmas magic.
Our fundraising events bring people together to raise vital funds, build connections and support our charitable aims.
From themed charity balls and community events to sporting challenges and fundraising activities, every event helps us raise money for initiatives that make a tangible difference to people affected by cancer.
We’re proud of the community that has grown around Unmask Cancer and the businesses, supporters and volunteers who help make our work possible.
We believe meaningful change happens when people come together.
We work with businesses, organisations and individuals who want to make a difference through event sponsorship, prize donations, fundraising partnerships, volunteering and support for our initiatives.
Whether you're a small local business or a larger organisation, there are lots of ways to get involved.
