The Fookin Peaky Blinders Ball...... Our 2nd charity night and all we can say is WOW, how do we even begin to sum up this night? It was incredible, amazing, fantastic, better than I could have hoped for. I envisioned how it would look, how the night would go and bring such a great then I knew it would be a great bight but the reality was even better. My vision x 10. Everything just came together perfectly, the decorations, all the little touches that brought it all together, the stunning venue itself, the food, entertainment but most importantly the guests. The effort everyone made to dress up but was just amazing, if you could time travel back to the 20s it would have been just the same as that night, looking around it really felt like we was in that era. Everyone looked so good, guys as well as the girls which really made the night perfect. 163 people this year, another amazing turnout who all helped raise an incredible £7804. This was massively helped by the 7 companies who so kindly sponsored the evening, those were...Darrens Gutters, With Love Hope, Hardy Interiors, West Kent Electrical, D&D Properties, Dell Autos and Peskill. The biggest thanks to all 7 of you.
We had a little surprise for guests on arrival in the form of 2 beautiful horses, such a great photo opportunity with some guests even getting on the horses. We used a fantastic company called E&S horse and pony adventures who were brilliant.
We then had arrival drinks in the Peaky Blinders Ball room which had a great photo backdrop for some more formal photos and later on the Horse racing and then into the Gatsby Room for dinner.
This room looked stunning, thanks to With Love Hope we had the light up letters again and candelabras on every table. we’d gone for a black and gold Art Deco theme this year and the black table covers hired from Loving Moments Events set the tables perfectly. There was some gorgeous prints made by Fusion who also provided our gorgeous tickets, Brochures, table plans, table numbers and name place cards.
The entertainment was fantastic. We had the brilliant Wayne from Magic In a Trice Not only wowing is with his magic but he also hosted the evening, drawing the raffle and doing a great job in the auction encouraging everyone to just bid that extra £10, £20 more.
Again this year we had some amazing prizes, 38 raffle prizes ranging from facials, hair cuts, family days out, laser tag, go karting, gin boxes, cocktails, fancy breakfast voucher, afternoon tea and so much more. A real mix and everyone enjoyable.
8 auction prizes this year, each prize went for a great amount. Lake District stay, original painting, signed arsenal shirt, super cars, Gordon Ramsey dinner, golf day, pamper package and a scottish break to watch Rangers Vs FC Porto at the ibrox Stadium.
The horse racing was a huge success, we had the brilliant Go Race Nights come in and provide this for us, Simin made everything so easy and everyone had such a laugh getting right into it cheering on their horses, we made a great amount for the charities from this and got some great photos.
Photograper this year was the lovely Sam from Sam Conquest Photography.
Photobooth once again was provided by My Fun Photo-booth. We loved them last year and knew we had to have them again this year. Just like last year it was a huge hit and we have some really fun and funny photos. we can’t wait for next years pics.
DJ had the floor filled at all times, a real mix of new and the old classic party songs. Guests were either singing, laughing or smiling the whole time.
A huge thank you to Surrey National who hires is the venue for free, it’s the most perfect venue the food was delicious and Louise the events manager is a dream to work with, I’m so excited to be working with her again for next years ball. The theme for 2020 is something we are so so excited for, it’s going to be amazing.
Details will be available over the next few months.
Thanks to everyone who came, hired us equipment, helped set up, helped on the night and most importantly helped raise so much money.
We can’t wait to see you all again next year.
