The day was such a success with lots of people coming down and getting to experience the magic of an Unmask Cancer event!
Weβre so happy to be introducing more events which involve the whole family! As a charity family is at the very heart of what we do. We want to support the families who are affected by cancer, and we want to also involve families as much as possible in our fundraising π«Άπ»
We raised over Β£300 on the weekend which is just incredible for our first event of the year! This gives such a good starting point to buy more stock for website items, chemo kits and to put towards our next raffles and events coming up this year ππΌποΈβ½οΈ
Congratulations is also in order for the winner of our Easter Bonnet parade! We hope you enjoy your prize and the rest of your Easter break ππ£π©·
Thank you once again to everyone who came down to support!
We're so excited to be hosting our very first spring event, which is one for the kids although we won't stop you from joining in and having fun too!
An Easter egg hunt with lots of crafts and fun to fill the very special Bank Holiday weekend!
To ensure there are enough crafts and Easter treats for all the children, please fill out the form provided at the bottom of this page. It simply asks for the names of your children, the number of children you wish to bring with you, their ages and any dietary requirements. We want all children to be involved despite dietary requirements as we can easily adjust and adapt the treats to keep them involved and happy!
The day will start at 12pm however to allow everyone enough time to arrive as we understand there may be travel delays, or something similar we will start the Easter Egg Hunt at 2pm.
We will have crafts and inflatables accessible from the 12pm mark so you can get doing straight away!
Due to the funding for this event, we will not be able to provide any food however there is a McDonald's at the bottom of the road which you will see as you turn up the road to enter the venue, or you're more than welcome to bring your own lunch and set up a spot inside to eat.
There is also free parking at the venue which is easy to access and the venue has accessible entrances with a ramp up to the venue, and an accessible toilet too.
Tickets for this event are available online and are also available at the door.
We also accept cash or cards for entrance and any other payments required at the event.
Ticket Prices:
Adult - Β£5
Under 16s - Β£2
Under 3s - Β£1
This event won't have a raffle so any fundraising for this day will come from the entrance fees and the crafts! We aim to raise a small amount from this that will help put on our Football Tournament and create some Chemo-Kits too!
We want this to be an event suitable for everyone and not extremely costly so we will have a range of crafts all under Β£1 with a few crafts that will be a little more expensive as these have been donated and we will have a limited amount of these items.
We will be seeing if we can get more items to ensure there is enough for all to do but we cannot guarantee this so these will need to be booked in advance on a first-come basis. We will send out an email to the contact email provided on the form about these crafts.
